Ryan L Goser, PE, SE has 25 years of structural consulting experience in the design and construction of building projects across the United States.  I am a graduate of Nashville's Vanderbilt University, earning degrees in Civil/Structural and Mechanical Engineering.    I began my career in Memphis, TN with the structural consulting firm JHT & Associates, Inc.  Here I was able to gain invaluable and broad experience in general building design, designing in all major structural materials and systems for a large variety of building types across the midsouth and southeast regions of the US, including coastal hurricane regions and the seismic region around the New Madrid fault. During this time in Memphis I also spent a brief period serving as a Structures Specialist with Tennessee Task Force One (TNTF-1), one of FEMA's national Urban Search and Rescue response teams.

After my tenure in Memphis I moved back to my hometown of St. Louis, MO.  Here I began work with the full-service architectural and engineering firm CASCO Corporation, providing structural designs in the national retail and hospitality markets across the United States.  I also worked with the design-build firm HBE Corporation, designing and constructing hospital building projects in the California market.  Designing structural systems for the public's most essential facilities in this high-seismic demand region provided me with an incredible dimension of earthquake engineering experience.    Throughout my career I have aimed to strengthen my knowledge base and experience through close attention to my mentors and also through seeking the comments and critiques of the end-users of my work, the constructors.  With a high level of respect for those that build I have continually sought their input and ideas and have worked to combine their knowledge along with my own to develop a unique ability to provide complete and workable structural solutions.    Desiring to put my expertise to work and to share my experience I founded GOSER STRUCUTRAL ENGINEERING, LLC in Saint Louis, MO in 2007.  With this I endeavor to provide a rewarding experience for those that seek my services and continue to grow towards becoming a landmark in the St. Louis engineering community.
